Material Handler / Warehouse Associate

Join our warehouse team as a Material Handler and play a key role in daily operations including receiving, inventory, packaging, and shipping. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience who wants long‑term stability and room to grow.

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials from vendors and Government agencies.
• Package, label, and prepare outbound shipments following commercial and military requirements.
• Complete basic administrative tasks such as receiving reports, shipping documents, and labeling.
• Perform data entry, filing, and computer updates for inventory and shipping records.
• Support inventory control by issuing, kitting, and staging parts for production.
• Coordinate outbound shipments and GBLs using commercial and DoD shipping portals.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed.

• 3–5 years of warehouse, material handling, or shipping/receiving experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Forklift experience is a plus (certification preferred).
• Familiarity with ISO standards or military specifications is helpful but not required.
• Experience with Costpoint/Deltek or other MRP systems is a plus.

• Stable, long‑term work supporting meaningful DoD and defense‑related projects.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Virginia Beach, VA.
