Description:
You will be Deployment Field Service Representative (Ship Rider / FSR) - Level 4. In this position you will serve as shipboard FSR, as the face and voice of Lockheed Martin side by side with the customer. In this position, you are the Subject Matter Expert for everything related to the F-35 supply chain and logistics in the field. You will embed with U.S. Navy/Marine Corps aviation units aboard ships, providing advanced technical expertise, troubleshooting, and hands on supply support for our aircraft systems.
This role demands a high degree of flexibility, adaptability, and a strong customer focus while living and working in a maritime environment for extended periods. What You Will Be Doing As a Deployment Field Service Representative (Ship Rider / FSR) - Level 4, you will identify customer's system needs and respond to requests for proposals; performs feasibility and performance studies, including benchmarking, capacity planning, etc.
You will develop appropriate systems recommendations to meet customer needs, including system configurations, installation planning, etc. You will prepare and present technical product information to customers. Post-installation and implementation responsibilities will include technical consulting to customers and providing solutions to software challenges. Important Note About This Position In this position, you will be expected to deploy on US Navy ships to be side-by-side with the customer end user for 3 to 6 month deployments or more at a time, maintaining a continuous presence with the end user.
Plan to be deployed aboard a ship 50% to 75% of the year. You will be required function in a shipboard environment which main entail physical assessments as suited for the demands of the job. What's In It For You:

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be willing to deploy on shipboard platforms for 3 to 6 months or longer, maintaining continuous presence with the end user community.
• Demonstrated experience with warehouse management, flow, processes, and/or design.
Experience with military aviation supply, distribution, and/or maintenance practices.
• Demonstrated experience communicating with internal and external aerospace program office teammates
• Previous technical project management experience with multiple deadlines and customer requirements.
• Demonstrated technical experience with Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T) processes and concepts in an international environment to include ITAR restrictions, licensing requirements (i.e. handling of "Dirty Cargo, i.e. classified, hazardous, etc." customs, 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) Management, and freight forwarding operations).

• Previous experience in a role with shipboard deployments
• Holds a Bachelors degree in a related field, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Demonstrated hands on experience with F-35 aircraft or similar platform preferred
• MICAP or PBL experience
• Knowledge of the following management systems: SAP, Automated Logistics Information System (ALIS), etc.
• Prior deployment planning and execution experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the aviation logistical support and maintenance concept.
• Knowledge of Navy and Marine Corps deployed aviation logistics, applicable transportation requirements, beach detachment CONOPS, and deployed cargo routing practices.
• Be well versed in Navy processes, procedures and protocols for replenishments, critical stock and aircraft readiness requirements while out to sea.
