Great Atlantic Management is a locally owned and operated property management company that has proudly served our communities since 1977. We currently manage over 30 self‑storage facilities throughout the area and continue to grow. As our portfolio expands, we are seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to assist in the maintenance, repair, and construction of our self‑storage facilities. As a reliable and dependable professional, you tackle any task with ease. Your skills include:
- Excellent versatility - you have proven knowledge & experience with facilities maintenance, including:
- Electrical systems troubleshooting & repair.
- Proper painting techniques.
- Carpentry skills for facility upgrades & repairs.
- HVAC & vent work (non mechanical).
- Understanding of welding techniques for repairs.
- Extraordinary attention to detail. Nothing gets past you.
- Fantastic organization and time management.
- Maintaining a spotless driving record and valid driver's license.
- Superb safety awareness. You work with the utmost care and can follow safety protocols.
- Exceptional technology skills - you can quickly learn new software that is essential to the role.
- Magnificent communication - you can speak clearly and effectively to all departments.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills - you know how to get along with all levels of management, mingle with executives, and interact with coworkers of diverse backgrounds.
- A wonderfully positive attitude; you handle feedback and stress well and you have a great sense of humor.
On a day‑to‑day basis, your essential duties would include:
- Build or repair partition walls separating storage units, including both sheet metal and sheetrock walls.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including electronic gates, lighting, signage, etc.
- Install cabinets, vanities, and countertops.
- Perform unit clean‑outs when needed.
- Clean and maintain appearance and landscaping at any location if needed.
- Regularly monitor the maintenance app to prioritize and complete tasks.
- Keep accurate time through the timekeeping app, including notating work locations.
- Other duties, such as plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work may be assigned.
