Service Technician - Virginia

Bobcat of Tidewater, a division of Winchester Equipment Co., is seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician / Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team in Virginia Beach, VA. We sell, rent and service industry-leading Bobcat compact equipment and other top‑of‑the‑line construction machinery used across Tidewater's commercial, residential and agricultural projects.

As a Service Technician, you will perform diagnostic, maintenance and repair work on Bobcat skid steers, compact track loaders, excavators, tractors and related equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on problem solving, takes pride in quality workmanship and values working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair Bobcat and other compact construction equipment
• Perform scheduled maintenance, hydraulic and electrical repairs and component replacements
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working condition
• Accurately complete service reports and communicate repair needs to service advisors and customers

• 2–4 years of experience as a Service Technician, Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Bobcat, Kubota, Caterpillar, John Deere or similar brands preferred)
• Technical or vocational training in diesel, mechanical or heavy equipment repair a plus
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work safely in a shop or field service environment
• Must provide personal tools for use
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
