Pipe Foreman

Trident Civil is seeking a dependable Pipe Foreman to join our team. Our foremen work closely with the superintendents and project managers to coordinate the crew and job site operations and production. The foreman will supervise all operations to install pipe on the project and oversee the completion of the project. Each foreman must know the safety, expenses, and permits on their job.

Requirements:

Install deep gravity sewer in municipal right aways. Full-time position. May require Saturday work. Applicant must be able to lift 50+ pounds and can push, pull, or carry heavy objects.

Tasks/Skills

* Perform tasks to abide by safety and security regulations

* Perform the labor as part of the crew to ensure the job gets completed

* Install pipe for water main, sanitary sewer main, and storm drains

* Pipe conditions, new installations and repair work

* Align and position pipe for installation

* Connect pipe and seal joints using bolted connections, cement or glue

* Cover pipe with earth or other materials; cut pipe to required lengths

* Dig trenches to depth by hand or using trenching tools

* Grade and level trench using hand tools and tamping machines

* Follows directions from supervisor and completes tasks without supervision

* Ability to supervise, lead and direct crew to accurately and safely complete job tasks

* Manages and assesses the work in the field to keep the project on task

* Operate a variety of Heavy Machinery (excavator, loader)

* Abide by OSHA safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

* High school diploma, or equivalent

* OSHA certifications, preferred

* 3+ years' experience as a Pipe Foreman

* Must have a valid driver's license

* 10-hour shift

* 8-hour shift

* Monday to Friday

* Weekend availability

Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

* water or sewer foreman: 3 years (Required)

* excavator operator: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

* Driver's License (Required)
