We’re looking for music and pop culture enthusiasts to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans can find their favorite merchandise. You’ll leverage your fandom knowledge to train new team members and support daily operations and sales targets.

Responsibilities:

• Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages repeat visits, demonstrating product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Assist in store operations, including opening and closing the store as needed.
• Operate the register, process transactions, and promote sales through various benefits such as BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Understand sales goals, KPIs, and assist with visual merchandising and store layout updates.
• Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners.
• Maintain store organization and stockroom cleanliness.
• Support team development and collaboration.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store leadership.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably with a passion for music and pop culture.
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
