• Responsible for all food preparation such as hot and cold food prep including vegetables, salad, baking, proteins, and desserts.
• Work with special diets.
• Serve meals in a resident dining area.
• Assemble assorted diet food, mechanically altered, other requirements and daily snacks.
• Responsible for next day breakfast, lunch, or dinner prep and catered/special events prep.

• Previous experience preferred.
• Must be Serv Safe certified within one year of employment.
• Hampton Roads Fats, Oil, and Grease Training aka HR F.O.G. Certification Required

• Three years experience in institutional food preparation or related field is desirable.
