Brief Description
The Virginia Beach Field House is Virginia’s premier indoor sports facility, offering leagues, camps, clinics, and tournaments for youth and adults in various sports. It features multiple turf fields, courts, a food court, lounge, arcade, and Fun Zone. The facility also hosts parties and corporate events.
Position Overview The Lil’ Kickers Coach is responsible for planning, instructing, and supervising youth development classes, reporting to the Youth Development Director and Youth Program Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.High energy and enthusiasm during classes and guest interactions.Promote program values and culture.Leadership capability and good guest service skills.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work with kids and parents effectively.Maintain current Lil’ Kickers training and curriculum.Work irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Commit to 13 consecutive weeks of consistent scheduling.Perform additional duties as assigned.Teaching Classes
Train to teach all age groups from Bunnies to Skills Institute.Teach at least 2 classes per week, no more than 3 consecutive classes, and no more than 4 classes per day.Registrations and Software Training
Learn to operate Dash training software and answer program questions.Handle registrations via phone and in-person, including payments.Additional Responsibilities
Make reminder calls and engage past customers.Distribute promotional materials and attend community events.Set up, take down, and sanitize equipment.Provide excellent customer service and orientation to participants and parents.Participate in training sessions and complete required programs.Minimum Requirements
- Less than high school education or up to one month related experience.
- Ability to read, write, and speak effectively.
- Basic math skills and ability to interpret documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training software.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform outdoor activities.
- Work environment may include outdoor weather and loud noise.
