What You'll Do In This Role

As a Hospice RN, you'll provide expert care that prioritizes the comfort and dignity of our patients, while offering compassionate support to their families. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive nursing assessments and reassessments, developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans in coordination with the interdisciplinary team, administering nursing services, including symptom management and treatments, in line with best practices, training and supervising hospice aides and other team members, documenting care and maintaining compliance with regulations and standards, and participating in quality improvement initiatives and staff development.

The Experience You'll Bring

* Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

* Active RN license in Virginia.

* At least 2 years of experience in skilled nursing, assisted living or home health nursing.

* Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently and respond effectively in crisis situations.

* Proficiency in electronic health records and technology, including Microsoft and Google applications.

* Compassionate, patient-focused, and emotionally resilient with the ability to manage high-stress situations.

Physical Requirements

This position requires physical effort such as lifting patients and exposure to environmental conditions typical of a healthcare setting.
