Schedule:

Full-Time Night Shift (7pm-7am). 3 days one week, 4 days the next, with an every other weekend rotation.

The Hoy Center at Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay takes a holistic approach to skilled nursing care and aging. As an RN in our beautiful Long-Term center on the Chesapeake Bay, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating clinical care, and ensuring exceptional resident outcomes. This is not just a job-it's an opportunity to foster innovation, and shape the future of healthcare delivery.

What You'll Do In This Role

* Recognize and inform the appropriate physician of significant changes in the resident's health status and for adverse reaction(s) to medication.

* Maintain medication and resident's records.

* Participate in resident assessment and care planning reviews and revise residents' assessments and care plans.

* Insure problems and complaints involving nursing services are reported to the Team Leader in a timely and appropriate manner.

* Communicate and coordinate care with residents and their families/significant others.

* Document and lead others in the documentation of resident care.

* Direct, participates and/or assists staff in delivering care.

* Check for appropriate amount and condition of equipment and supplies; order supplies and equipment as necessary.

* Support and participate in facility quality assurance programs.

* Ensure that unit practices are consistent with regulatory requirements.

* Review, transcribe and implement physician orders.

* Practice and ensure staff adheres to infection control measures.

* Participate in continuing education programs to maintain competency.

* All other duties as assigned.

The Experience You'll Bring

Required

* Active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Virginia (or compact).

* A minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
