Job Overview

Starting at $31. Bickford Senior Living Wellness Nurse supports resident care within the branch, ensuring that resident’s daily medication needs are met in a compassionate way that maintains dignity, allowing them to live life to the fullest.

• Full-time employees eligible for all benefits (medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products)
• Part-time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) eligible for Voluntary Life, Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, Identity Protection, and Cyber Monitoring
• Benefits start on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment

• Pay available daily

• Accurately follow the resident eMAR to ensure medications are given out according to the Physician’s orders.
• Understand and follow the “Six rights of medication administration” and all Bickford policies and procedures regarding medication management.
• Understand and appropriately utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate appropriately with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise resident care work of non-licensed team members and other areas of the branch as appropriate.
• Demonstrate the Bickford Mission “Whatever it Takes” to all other team members on shift.

• Active license as an LPN or Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Willing to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
• Competent in organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to utilize or learn Bickford’s eMAR system to administer medications.
