Location:

Virginia Beach, VA.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments.
• Design and implement personalized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and post‑discharge care.
• Monitor and record vital signs and observe changes in patient conditions.
• Respond promptly with appropriate interventions.
• Use clinical judgment to address complex health situations and consult with medical team members as needed.
• Document all care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and evidence‑based protocols.
• Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring comfort, dignity, and well‑being while fostering trust.
• Commit to continuous learning and adaptability to evolving healthcare practices.

• Registered Nurse license in the state of Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire (required for all).
• Critical Care/Intermediate Care Unit:
  Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire.
• Emergency Care: ACLS and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.
• Oncology Care:
  Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) or Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) credential, or a Sentara‑approved Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Card within 6 months of hire.
• Women’s Care – Perinatal departments:
  Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 6 months of hire.
• Inpatient Pediatrics:
  Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.
