Overview
At Bon Secours Mercy Health, we are dedicated to continually improving health care quality, safety and cost effectiveness. The Tier 3, System Flex Team traveler RN will be assigned to various sites throughout the health system to provide patient care, promote and restore patient health through the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, provide physical and psychological support to patients, families, and supervise team members as assigned.
Responsibilities- Conduct individualized patient assessments including psychosocial priorities.
- Formulate and implement plan of care with interventions and evaluation of response.
- Deliver care with age and cultural competence, collaborating with healthcare team.
- Support departmental goals through continuous quality improvement and patient advocacy.
- Supervise assigned team members as directed.
- Maintain current RN licensure and required certifications.
- Current RN license in good standing in state of practice (required).
- BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (required).
- Any additional required credentials specific to nurse specialty (required).
- Associate of Nursing (required).
- Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred).
- 6 months of recent experience in an acute care specialty (required).
- 1 year of recent experience in an acute care specialty (preferred).
- EPIC Electronic Health Record (preferred).
- Neonates (0‑4 weeks)
- Infant (1‑12 months)
- Pediatrics (1‑12 years)
- Adolescents (13‑17 years)
- Adults (18‑64 years)
- Geriatrics (65 years and older)
- High stress and fluctuating workloads may occur.
- Exposure to high noise levels, bright lights, physical altercations, verbal abuse, hazardous substances, body fluids, medical gases.
- May be required to use physical restraints and exposed to adverse weather conditions.
- Lifting/Carrying 0‑50 lbs.
- Push/Pull 0‑50 lbs.
- Stoop, kneel, crawl, climb, balance, bend.
- Standing, walking, sitting.
