At Ocean Breeze Waterpark, we bring the fun—and we’re looking for a Marketing Manager who can help us make a splash! This role leads all marketing, advertising, and promotional efforts designed to boost attendance, elevate the guest experience, and showcase the park’s vibrant personality. You’ll dream up big ideas, turn them into engaging content, and ensure our brand shines across every platform—from social media feeds to in-park signage to unforgettable events.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Digital Engagement & Brand Management- Oversee website updates, SEO efforts, and digital advertising to keep our online presence strong.
- Lead social media strategy with a focus on fun, engagement, and community building.
- Brainstorm and produce fresh, on-brand content that captures attention and drives excitement.
- Maintain brand consistency across all guest touchpoints—online and in the park.
- Build and execute in-park promotions and sponsorship programs that entertain guests and drive revenue.
- Bring the fun to life with special events, media activations, influencer days, and branded experiences.
- Keep sponsorship partners happy by ensuring all deliverables are met with excellence.
- Track ticket sales through external channels to spot wins and new opportunities.
- Produce promotional materials and eye-catching collateral—including signage and creative content.
- Develop exciting seasonal marketing plans that bring the Ocean Breeze brand to life.
- Evaluate media buys and help shape smart, guest-motivating promotional offers.
- Collaborate with agency partners to launch fun, high-impact multi-channel campaigns.
- Create and produce compelling season pass messaging across print and digital.
- Generate and share reports to help the team understand performance and opportunities.
- Train, schedule, and guide a team of seasonal marketing crew members.
- Work closely with departments across the park to ensure marketing efforts seamlessly support operations.
- Jump in wherever needed to help execute campaigns, events, and content creation.
- Develop and oversee the marketing budget, ensuring smart spending and strong ROI.
- Support park and corporate policies with professionalism and consistency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager—because teamwork keeps the fun flowing.
- Minimum of two years of experience in promotions, sponsor ships, or marketing; experience in theme parks, entertainment, or tourism is a big plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Strong production and content creation skills—able to turn ideas into engaging visuals, stories, and experiences.
- Video Editing and Graphic Design skills preferred
- A natural idea generator who thinks creatively, strategically, and analytically.
- Excellent communicator who can articulate concepts clearly and inspire those around you.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with partners and collaborators.
- Proficient with common marketing software, digital tools, and content creation platforms.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities with a positive, motivating style.
- A proactive doer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple projects.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak summer fun.
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, primarily in an office setting.
- Occasionally required to work outdoors in varying weather conditions during events, photo/video shoots, or park promotions.
- May occasionally need to kneel, bend, reach above shoulder level, push, or pull when setting up marketing materials or events.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds independently; heavier lifting is rare and typically supported.
