- You will serve as the Supervisor of the Labor and Employee Relations (LER) Branch with responsibility for planning, developing, evaluating, leading and supervising the work of employees assigned in this area.
- You will execute various labor and employee relations programs in support of the Command’s employees or supervisors such as Labor relations, Employee Relations, Discipline, Leave Administration, Demonstration Project Performance Management System.
- You will serve as the Command's central contact for all LER programs in the Human Resources Division.
- You will serve as the technical expert for Labor and Employee Relations and provides advice and guidance to managers.
- You will be responsible for solving difficult labor and employee relations issues by applying a full range of labor and employee relations theories, principles, methods and techniques.
- You will serve as the authority for local interpretation of related law, regulations, Executive orders, and decisions regarding labor and employee relations matters.
- You will conduct supervisory duties that include advising employees of their performance expectations, keeping them informed of their progress, and will evaluate employee's performance.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR .
