Responsibilities
  • Direct all phases of program/projects from capture through completion.
  • Oversee and manage operational aspects of ongoing programs/projects and serve as liaison between financial management and planning, project teams, functional teams and subcontractors.
  • Participate in the negotiation of contracts and contract changes.
  • Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal technical and cost sections, statement of work, terms/conditions.
  • Act as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Establish/coordinate engineering and technical, integration and test and evaluation efforts.
  • Establish program budget and milestones and monitor adherence to costs and schedules.
  • Determine reasons and plans response for shortfalls in program revenue targets.
  • Facilitate regular, professional team meetings across program team with active follow-up action items.
  • Communicate complex issues/gains consensus with engineering, production, quality, and other stakeholders.
  • Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports, including resource utilization and risk management.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
What you will do

Responsible for the profit and loss of a large complex program. Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for serving multiple customers requiring developing and managing plans across several subcontractors. Responsible for overseeing a program contained at one primary geographic location however covering remote locations and multiple business functions and employees directly assigned to program. Program may require new technologies.

Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Develops new business or expands services with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

Directs the work of employees including management level assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

Qualifications
