The
Herff Jones
team is looking for a Seasonal General Labor to join our HJ Family in Framing Success in Virginia Beach, VA.

• We need to bring in a temporary general laborer as soon as possible. This person would float between making boxes for final assembly and opening boxes and inspecting wood for the frames department.
• This person also may be cross trained in other positions on the assembly line.

• MUST move at a fast pace (600 to 1000 boxes per day at our top levels or open and inspect 5 molding boxes an hour.)
• Be able to lift 50lbs throughout the day. Be able to stand 10 hours per day.
• Position that does NOT require ruler proficiency. However, it is beneficial for earning a permanent position if one were to become available

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous success in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success in going above and beyond to help the team achieve a goal.
• Previous success maintaining a strong attendance and on time record.

• Daily activity includes but is not limited to lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.
• Reading, communication, math.
• Working at a computer for extended periods of time.
• Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50lbs.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above
