Decision Technologies seeks a qualified Supply Technician to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA.
Position DescriptionThe Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) PHD Virginia Beach Detachment (Dam Neck, VA) is seeking a highly skilled Supply Technician to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Detachment Virginia Beach, VA. This full-time position will be providing hands‑on support to some of the Navy's most sophisticated Radar equipment. This position will be located at NAS Oceana Dam Neck Annex, Virginia Beach.
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast‑paced environment.
MUST be able to obtain and maintain a Secret government clearance.
Responsibilities and Duties- Coordinate logistical support to NSWC PHD (IPT's Manager) Radar Programs in the processing requirements for the fleet.
- Receive, inspect, assign location, manage stock issues, conduct and report physical inventories, relocate stock to make room for items.
- Prepare shipping paperwork (DD‑1149) as completed shipping transaction in the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and maintain shipping documents records including providing tracking of materials.
- Manage the organization, tracking, and reporting of 2000 shipment periods.
- Skilled in training new employees on the ERP system, equipping them with essential knowledge and resources to succeed in their roles.
- Process and transfer numerous materials to NAVSUP, DRMO, FMS, NSWC, and Crane, IN.
- Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning system(s).
- Experience with Warehouse Management, Supplies Management, and Inventory Management.
- Possess excellent leadership skills and ability to work with team members and subcontractors from various technical and logistics disciplines.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and professional correspondence.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures, hazardous material handling, and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Forklift Qualified.
- Navy‑ERP/SAP.
- Domestic and/or International shipping experience.
