Associate Attorney

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our business and immigration law firm in the Virginia Beach Town Center. We will consider both part-time and full-time candidates as well as hybrid remote/in person arrangements.

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on a variety of corporate issues.
• Draft legal documents, including correspondence, contracts, corporate resolutions, annual reports, tax registrations, leases, deeds, export license applications, and court filings.
• Liaise with state and federal agencies.
• Collaborate with managing partner and provide support as needed.
• Provide timely and effective communication to clients.
• Maintain accurate case files and corporate record books in compliance with legal standards.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.
• Work independently to meet both external and internal deadlines.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar association.
• 4+ years of experience in corporate law or related legal specialty.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $ per year
