System Administrator Security Clearance

Position: System Administrator with Security Clearance
Job Description ANALYGENCE is pursuing an opportunity in support of a U.S. Navy customer with work location in Virginia Beach, VA. We are seeking a System Administrator with a minimum of four (4) years of system administration experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) IT environments. This is a hands-on technical role responsible for building, hardening, sustaining, and remediating systems operating within secure, compliance-driven environments, in alignment with DoD security and operational requirements.

* Imaging, configuring, and deploying Windows and/or Linux systems in DoD environments
* Building, maintaining, and supporting standard OS baselines
* Implementing and validating DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
* Remediating system and network vulnerabilities identified through DoD-approved scanning tools
* Supporting patching, upgrades, and system lifecycle management
* Administering user accounts, privileges, and access controls
* Troubleshooting system, application, and connectivity issues
* VMware virtualization experience, including managing and supporting virtual machines
* Performing backups, restorations, and recovery operations
* Executing system hardening and configuration management tasks
* Using administrative and command-line tools to diagnose and resolve issues
* Maintaining documentation for system builds, configurations, and remediation actions Requirements
* Minimum four (4) years of System Administrator experience
* Experience supporting DoD IT systems
* Active DoD Secret clearance
* DoD 8570 IAT II or IAT III compliant certification (e.g., Security+, CASP, CISSP, or equivalent) Summary Our people-first culture drives mission success.
