Our team, part of Mission Technologies’ Global Security group, designs, develops and operates the largest LVC (Live, Virtual, Constructive) enterprise that prepares warfighters for cross‑domain battle. HII supports the U.S. Navy and Department of Energy with life‑cycle maritime defense systems, nuclear and environmental programs, and advanced technologies such as AI, cyber operations, and unmanned underwater vehicles.

• Serve as Operations Planner for NCTE supported exercise/training events, collaborating with Navy Combatant Commands, other stakeholders, and the NCTE Operations Lead to ensure event requirements are met.
• Create Project Pages to track Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) from event planning through execution.
• Assist with Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) inputs and build simulation scenarios for BMD events.
• Provide on‑site support for weekly off‑hours exercises and attend all planning conferences/seminars.
• Collaborate with the NCTE Operations Lead and Engineering Technical Lead to validate manning plans and event situational reports.

• 5 years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or 3 years relevant experience and a Master’s degree; or 0 years with a PhD/JD; or high school diploma with 9 years experience.
• 5 years relevant warfighter experience in operations support of Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) missions.
• Experience as a Combat Systems Training Team member and/or Senior Enlisted Leader.
• Valid U.S. Passport for occasional OCONUS travel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office.
• Current U.S. Secret clearance or ability to maintain it.

• Experience as Interface Control Officer, Navy Ops Tech LDO, Ordnance LDO on an AEGIS BMD platform, or an Air Force Operations Staff Officer.
• Experience building and running scenarios within simulation systems such as JSAF, BFTT BOPC, AWSIM.
• Qualified as Tactical Actions Officer or Ballistic Missile Defense Officer on an AEGIS BMD platform.
• Experience as Air Intercept Controller or Air Battle Manager.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of tactical data link systems such as Link 16 and Link 22 with regard to BMDS support.
• Experience working with Joint/Coalition commands in a tactical environment.

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
