We are seeking an Electronic Security Systems Help Desk Technician to join our federal team at our DEA Headquarters / Springfield, VA location. This role is seated at the help desk and is responsible for supporting the DEA’s access control and video surveillance systems through ISPA’s ticketing system. You will be the first point of contact for resolving issues related to these systems.
- Cure 9000 and Milestone XProtect issues, ensuring smooth operations across DEA facilities within the National Capital Region.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8 hours/day between 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Compensation: $34.00 - $45.00 / hour. (Based on experience and qualifications)
Benefits:

Vacation: 3 weeks of paid vacation per year, plus holidays, sick leave, and floating holidays
Travel:
Minimal – occasional travel within the NCR as required
As a Help Desk Technician, you will:
- Monitor and respond to submitted tickets
- Acknowledge receipt and gather additional info from users
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions
- Close tickets and escalate unresolved issues
- Provide weekly reports on ticket status
- Support systems including Cure 9000, Milestone XProtect, iSTAR hardware, and camera systems
- Configure badge programming and monitor system views
- Maintain detailed logs of activities
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience with Cure 9000 (v3.0+) and Milestone XProtect (2022+)
- Software House Level 2 Certification
- Cure 9000 Installer/Maintainer Certification
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in federal or regulated security environments
- Knowledge of security network equipment
- Good communication and customer service skills
Preferred Education
- Technical cert or degree in IT, electronics, or security (preferred)
