Human Resources Administrator

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will play a key part in managing HR processes, including onboarding, orientation, and administrative support tasks. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

- Facilitate onboarding processes for new employees, including both in-person and virtual orientations.

- Maintain accurate records for new staff members and monitor important onboarding milestones.

- Provide administrative support by managing expense reports, processing invoices, and replenishing office supplies.

- Organize and streamline exit procedures for departing employees.

- Assist HR leadership with initiatives aimed at enhancing internal processes and communication strategies.

- Ensure compliance with pre-employment requirements.

- Collaborate with team members to support benefit-related functions.

- Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to generate reports and maintain documentation.

- Coordinate orientations for new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the organization. Requirements - Proven experience in human resources administration, including onboarding and orientation.

- Proficiency in conducting background checks and managing pre-employment processes.

- Familiarity with benefit-related functions and HR compliance requirements.

- Strong organizational skills for handling administrative tasks such as expense reporting and procurement.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting purposes.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
