Now inviting candidates with keen attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a desire to create a memorable guest experience to apply for Housekeeper and housekeeping positions at the Springhill Suites on the Oceanfront. The housekeeper is responsible for cleaning assigned guest rooms and guest common areas to hotel and brand standards. Inspects the guest room and reports any maintenance deficiencies.

Responds to guest requests. Ensures the confidentiality, privacy and security of all guest rooms and guest information.

• Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow associates.
• Walk assigned floors at beginning and end of shift; remove newspapers, remove trash and/or linens and note any areas that need immediate cleaning.
• Complete projects as assigned; maintain cleanliness of guest vending areas, elevator landings, linen closets, and housekeeping department areas, including storage areas.
• Assist Room Attendants with removal of dirty linen and trash; help with moving furniture, rollaways, flipping mattresses, etc.
• Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Be familiar with correct guestroom cleaning procedures to assist with cleaning if needed.
• Before leaving section, collect all trash from service landings and dispose per hotel procedures.
• Vacuum guest corridors.
• Deliver any clean linen to assigned sections.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of Housekeeping Area, linen rooms, storage closets and stairwells.

• Candidates must be able to stand/walk for an eight (8) hour shift. This position requires physical demands: pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and climbing stairs.
• Candidates must have open availability and be able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• 1 year of previous housekeeping/housekeeping aide experience preferred, but not required.
