Overview

The City of Virginia Beach Department of Human Services (DHS) seeks an experienced individual who has credentialing experience, customer service skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, billing knowledge, the ability to multitask and work independently. The candidate will maintain the credentialing for all licensed providers as well as paneling all newly licensed providers. Process Billing for Behavioral Health services to assigned insurance plans.

• Credentialing and paneling of all licensed providers that work for DHS.
  • Reminders sent for CAQH re-attestation needed.
  • Assist New licensed staff with creating an online profile NPI, CAQH, and MES enrollment.
  • Panel new licensed staff with all insurance carriers after enrolling in MES.
• Billing of assigned insurance.
• Knowledge of Medicare rules and regulations to be billed weekly.
• Reconciliation, back-billing and follow-up on denied claims processed weekly.
