This role is responsible for assisting in meal preparation, service, and kitchen hygiene to meet resident s specific dietary needs. They work closely with dietitians, nurses, and kitchen staff to ensure compliance with therapeutic diets and maintain food safety standards.

M-F and every other weekend. 11:30am-8:30pm

• Food Preparation:
  This includes the ability to prepare meals according to recipes and dietary restrictions, using various kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Food Safety and Sanitation:
  Maintaining a clean and safe environment. Must be knowledgeable about proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Knowledge of Nutrition:
  Understanding basic nutrition principles and dietary restrictions is essential for preparing appropriate meals for individuals with specific needs.
• Operating Kitchen Equipment:
  Dietary aides need to be comfortable using various kitchen appliances and tools.

SNF or hospital setting experience preferred.
