Medical Biller

Hope, Care & Love Home Healthcare Services is seeking a Billing and Payroll Specialist responsible for accurate medical claim submission, payment follow-up, and accounts receivable management across Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Insurance, and Private Pay. This role ensures compliance with regulatory and HIPAA standards, prepares billing and financial reports, and processes timely, accurate payroll while serving as a resource for staff payroll and billing inquiries.

• Prepare, review, and submit medical claims (electronic and paper) using billing software.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve payment discrepancies and denials.
• Ensure compliance with billing regulations for Private Pay, Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Insurance, and Managed Care.
• Oversee accounts receivable, including private pay invoicing, reconciliation, and collections.
• Review payer contracts and billing guidelines to ensure accurate reimbursement.
• Prepare and submit billing and financial reports.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
• Process payroll, maintain records, generate reports, and respond to staff payroll inquiries.

• College degree or medical coding/billing certification (preferred).
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience health insurance billing.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in payroll data entry.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, medical terminology, ICD-10 coding, and private and government insurance reimbursement (Medicare and Medicaid).
