What you will doClinical Responsibilities:
- Screen and prepare patient for medical providers.
- Provides instruction concerning and demonstrates proper use of equipment.
- Evaluating and documenting patient history with physician oversight
- Assist in education of patient injuries and disorders
- Helping with patient coordination and education on physical therapy and/or home exercise programs
- Prep chart for clinic
- Answers phones and schedules appointments
- Greets patients, completion of registration forms, and gives instructions
- Complete FMLA and disability paperwork
- Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments
- Assist medical providers during patient examinations and treatment
- Handle telephone calls from clients, pharmacy, laboratory, Attorneys and physicians
- Participate in tracking outside referrals
- Maintain inventory supplies and order as appropriate
- Phlebotomy
- Assist with maintenance of equipment, supplies, and treatment rooms
- Review treatment instructions, directions for outside referrals, and follow-up care
- Other duties as assigned
Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Provider Template/schedule changes within Epic
- On-boarding of new providers: arrange for Epic access/training, set up schedule template, space arrangements
- Fellowship Coordinator—recruit, coordinate virtual interviews/in person site visits, facilitate on-boarding of new fellow provider
- Staffing—recruiting/hiring/training/facilitate on-boarding
- Staff scheduling—PTO authorization
- Validating Authorizations for procedures
- Coordinate capital equipment purchases/demos
- Coordinate practice expansion
- Assist accounts receivable with claims/questions
- Assist with provider On-Call schedule
- Arrange subpoena/attorney requests
- Staffing annual evaluations
- Other duties as assigned
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- 5+ years prior experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting
- 2+ years of proven success in leadership roles is required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical thinking skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment when making decisions
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
