Aboutthe Role
The Treasury Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the company’s daily treasury and cash management activities. This position assists the Treasury Manager with monitoring cash activity, preparing journal entries, and ensuring accurate, timely execution of treasury processes. The role is responsible for daily cash positioning, bank reporting, and reconciliation support, as well as maintaining banking documentation, account information, and electronic payment templates.
The Treasury Operations Coordinator partners closely with the shared services AP/AR teams by responding to inquiries, troubleshooting invoice or vendor setup issues, and addressing banking-related exceptions. This role also contributes to month-end close activities, audit requests, and the preparation of reconciliations and supporting schedules. Additional responsibilities include maintaining treasury logs and financial files, assisting with process improvements, and supporting cross functional initiatives that enhance treasury and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities- Assist the Treasury Manager with daily treasury operations, including cash activity tracking and operational support.
- Prepare and post journal entries related to treasury and cash transactions.
- Support daily cash positioning, bank reporting, and reconciliations.
- Assist with banking administration, including maintaining bank account information, updating signer documentation, managing wire and ACH templates, and supporting bank portal administration and documentation.
- Respond to AP/AR inquiries from the shared services team, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Investigate invoice discrepancies, vendor setup issues, and banking exceptions.
- Assist with month-end close activities, audit requests, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain treasury logs, schedules, files, and financial documentation.
- Support treasury and operating teams with initiatives, process improvements, and special projects.
- Provide assistance in other finance or operational areas as needed to support business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Up to two years of experience in treasury operations, accounting, AP/AR, or banking.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Experience with Yardi or other ERP systems is preferred.
