Construction Inspector

Duties and responsibilities to include:

• Perform closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspections of the City’s stormwater drainage systems to support MS-4 permit requirements and post-construction inspections.
• Perform CCTV inspections according to NASSCO standards.
• Inspect drainage systems according to Federal, State, and Local law and regulation.
• Perform post-construction and maintenance inspections of drainage systems according to State and Local drainage system design standards and specifications, and general industry standards.
• Perform CCTV investigative inspections of drainage systems to support staff addressing citizen requests, environmental concerns, or other drainage-related issues.
• Plan and schedule inspections according to a developed inspection program cycle.
• Research, track, and report inspection activities and results in a resource management system such as Hansen or Cartegraph.
