Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist Purpose

• Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist in Virginia Beach, VA
  .
• This position will support NSWCDD-DNA combat systems modernization, maintenance, sustainment, and upgrade initiatives onboard large-deck amphibious ships and aircraft carriers.

• Provide support in the development, tracking, and processing of Integrated Logistics Support(ILS) Certifications. Support shall include but not be limited to:
  • Access Navy Data Environment (NDE) Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Module to generate,maintain, andsubmit
    
    ILS Certifications for review/approval by Ships Platform Managers (SPMs).
  • Maintain status tracker for ILS Certifications.
  • Generate,maintain, and update ILS Checklists (in MS Word) for new construction ships.
  • Access Model Based Product Support (MBPS) to pull Ship Installation Drawings(SIDs) to support development of ILS Certifications.
  • Read and interpret SIDs, Allowance Parts Lists (APL), JETDASNomenclatures, Technical Manual Data , and relevant data within the MBPS suiteto support development of ILS Certifications.
• Manage SCD data through the life cycle within the Naval Data Environment (NDE) system to ensure accuracy of fielding plans updates
• Initiate and submit ILS Certifications in NDE to the SPM for approval.
• Maintain ILS Checklists for all SCN configuration changes.

• Must have a High School Diploma and 5 plus years of experience with Configuration Management and/or Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
• Must be able to generate, maintain, and submit ILS Certifications within NDE.

• Work File Change Notices (WFCNs) experience, preferred.

• Must have an Active DoD Secret Security clearance and base access requirements.

• Less than 10%
• If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL . • Must be able to work in an office, industrial, or shipboard environment.
• Be able to lift and move materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one-man lift.
• Must be able to perform site surveys and carry a laptop computer.
