Locum Jobs Online is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Virginia!
We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia, starting Apr 20, 2026. This opportunity offers a consistent Monday-Thursday clinic schedule, with additional Friday and call responsibilities every third week, supporting both outpatient hematology/oncology clinics and infusion centers.

Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm; additional Friday clinic and call coverage every third week
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care, including patient consultations and follow-up visits
- Float between two sister outpatient clinics; one with an infusion room and on-site radiation oncology, the other with an infusion center
- Collaborate with infusion and radiation oncology teams for comprehensive patient management
- Participate in call coverage, Monday through Sunday, every third week
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with clinical standards
- Ensure compliance with all applicable medical protocols and safety procedures
Additional Information
- Board certification in Hematology required (or pending board examination)
- Active Virginia medical license required
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
