Bookkeeper

A well-established construction company based in Virginia Beach, VA is looking to bring on a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support their growing operations. This company delivers a wide variety of projects across commercial, retail, restaurant, and office construction
, and they are seeking someone who can help maintain accurate financial records while supporting the day-to-day financial health of the business.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
• Assist with payroll processing
• Track project-related expenses and job costs
• Prepare financial reports for management
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Work closely with project managers and leadership to ensure accurate cost tracking

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Experience in construction accounting or job-costing is a plus
• Proficiency with accounting software (Quick Books, Sage, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
