Requirements
  • Prepare monthly billings for a variety of contract types, to include FFP, T&M and CPFF
  • Support the Invoice Dispute Resolution (IDR) program, including customer setup, documentation, and daily payment application
  • Manage and monitor accounts receivable aging reports to ensure timely collection of payments
  • Provide collections support, communicating with customers regarding outstanding invoices by following up on outstanding payments and resolving any billing discrepancies
  • Prepare and analyze monthly unbilled reports
  • Pull and distribute reports required for internal and external audits
  • Perform miscellaneous reconciliations and data validation within Costpoint as assigned
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the finance and accounting department
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED plus 2-4 years of accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of general accounting practices
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint preferred
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Experience applying customer payments
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications, with advanced knowledge in Excel
  • Strong proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas)
  • Experience in billing, preferably in Government contracting
