Emergency Department Nurse - Contract Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights 12 (18:45-7:15) (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) with every other weekend or three per month depending on needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Emergency Department Nurse with a strong background in high-volume and fast-paced environments. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in providing critical care and support in the Emergency Department, utilizing their skills to effectively manage patient needs and collaborate with medical teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in accordance with established protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Three (3) years of recent Emergency Department experience required.
• BSN is required.
• Travel experience with at least one completed contract assignment.
• Current New Jersey License/Compact.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required (pending certifications or those expiring within 30 days of submission will not be accepted).
