Emergency Department Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This position is for Night Shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

Job Description

The Emergency Department Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, utilizing their expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor, record, and report changes in patients' conditions.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Three (3) years of recent Emergency Department experience required.
• BSN is required.
• Travel experience with completed contract assignments is preferred.
• Current New Jersey License or Compact License.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Pending certifications or certifications expiring within 30 days of submission are not accepted.
