Overview
QC Inspector – Minitab |
Reports To: Production Supervisor |
Schedule: 40 hours per week + overtime as available | Ability to work various shifts
The QC Inspector – Minitab ensures that all products meet quality and safety standards as defined by standard operating procedures. This role is critical for maintaining product integrity, supporting production accuracy, and upholding food safety compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesFor all tasks, ensure compliance with product quality and food safety standards. Immediately notify QA of any deviations.
Primary Duties Include- Enter quality data accurately into Minitab
- Create charts and analyze data in Minitab
- Carefully observe production and maintain attention to detail
- Take precise measurements and record figures accurately
- Communicate any product deficiencies to the line operator
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and participate in housekeeping tasks
- Discard defective or floor-contact product into designated grey buckets
- Report to the line operator daily for instructions and updates
- Follow all safety, health, environmental, and company rules
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Strong understanding of GMPs, HACCP, and BRC standards
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and make sound decisions
- Computer proficiency, especially with Minitab
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Strong math skills
- Previous baking experience is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer skills for Minitab data entry
- Previous experience in baking or food manufacturing preferred
- Fast-paced food manufacturing environment
- 40-hour work week with overtime opportunities
- Flexible schedule to work different shifts as required
