Northeast Precast (NEP) is now hiring a full-time Janitor/Custodian. We are expanding to a large new building and need extra help. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing South Jersey company! Our full-time employees enjoy:

In this position, you will work to maintain a clean environment in our plant and offices. In addition to cleaning, duties include restocking supplies and maintaining outdoor areas.

• Maintain the cleanliness of the office, breakroom, and restroom areas
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Clean restroom fixtures, mirrors, toilets and restock dispensers
• Clean break room fixtures, and appliances
• Remove waste and empty trash
• Clean window glass
• Disinfect high‑touch surfaces
• Maintain outdoor areas by sweeping entrances and emptying cigarette butt collectors
• Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies
• Organize janitorial storage areas
• Shovel sidewalks and spread salt during winter weather events
• Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or the need for major maintenance repairs
• Clean mini‑split filters
• Small maintenance repairs: toilet seats, light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, and installing toiletry/soap dispensers
• Operate electric floor scrubber
• Clean plant machinery
• Operate on‑site street sweepers

This is a full‑time position and it incorporates work hours outside of normal business hours with a typical shift starting at 4:00 AM, Monday through Friday.

PAY: $17.00 - $18.50 Hourly

• Valid NJ driver’s license
• 1-5 years experience working in the custodial/janitorial field
• Must be able to do physical work and operate equipment normally found in janitorial operations
• Ability to follow a schedule and keep commitments
• Manage time efficiently while working independently
• Attention to detail, adherence to standards
