Standards of Practice- Assessment
- Medical/Pediatric Nurse collects pertinent date and information relative to patient health or situation.
- Diagnosis
- Medical/Pediatric Nurse analyzes assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses, problems or issues.
- Outcome Identification
- Medical/Pediatric Nurse identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient.
- Planning
- Medical/Pediatric Nurse develops a plan of care that includes interventions to attain expected measurable outcomes.
- Implementation
- Medical/Pediatric Nurse implements the individualized patient plan of care.
- Evaluation
- Medical/Pediatric Nurse evaluates progress toward attainment of patient goals and outcomes.
