  Computer skills are vital for maintaining accurate patient records and reporting changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team, with much of this documentation done on computers.

  LPNs typically monitor the activities of nursing assistants and orderlies, requiring supervisory skills to maintain a functional and professional team environment.
• Clinical
  
  Skills:
  
  The clinical skills learned during the practical nursing program prepare the LPN to participate in patient care with knowledge and confidence across a wide range of duties.
