Shipping & Receiving II

Job Summary

Receives, verifies, and records incoming materials and supplies and performs a variety of routine clerical duties to support Warehouse operations. Prepares and processes outgoing truckload, LTL, and overnight shipments; ensures all items ship to the proper location, according to established schedules.

• Verifies and accurately receive and transfer inventory to the appropriate warehouse locations.
• Responsible for loading palletized products, completing shipping documents and adheres to directed transportation methods (Manifest).
• Maintains records of clerical duties including, but not limited to daily invoicing of customer orders, product receipts, and outbound UPS and LTL shipments.
• Serves as a resource for team members and showcases “role model” habits related to safety, communication, teamwork, and cleanliness.
• Communicates with Area Manager to determine priorities, observes work-in-progress, and advises Area Manager of issues.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.
• Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Quantity - Meets productivity standards; completes work in a timely manner; strives to increase productivity.
• Safety - Observes all safety procedures and policies; reports potentially unsafe conditions to supervisor; uses equipment and materials properly.

• Operates a variety of manual and powered industrial equipment to help palletize skids and loads product onto trucks

Work Environment
Shipping/Receiving:
Fast-paced, standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.

Physical Demands
Shipping/Receiving:
Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 200 lbs.
