We are seeking a high-performing, consultative insurance sales professional with proven sales experience. This role is designed for a seasoned closer who can build long-term client relationships, uncover cross-sell opportunities, and consistently exceed production goals.
The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and thrives in a performance-based environment with uncapped earning potential.
Key Responsibilities- Drive new business production across Auto, Home, Life, and Health insurance
- Conduct comprehensive client needs analyses to recommend tailored coverage solutions
- Cross-sell and bundle policies to maximize client value and retention
- Manage and grow a personal book of business with a long-term relationship mindset
- Generate referrals through exceptional client service and strategic networking
- Educate clients on coverage options, risk exposure, and policy changes
- Stay current on carrier offerings, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations
- Collaborate with service and support teams to ensure seamless policy issuance and renewals
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
Required
- State insurance licenses (P&C and Life & Health) If you do not have a license currently, one must be obtained within 30 days of offer letter.
- Proven track record of closing new business
- Strong consultative sales skills (needs-based selling, not transactional)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- High level of personal accountability and self-discipline
Preferred
- Experience in an independent agency or brokerage environment
- Established referral network or book of business
- CRM proficiency and comfort using sales metrics to manage performance
- Leadership or mentorship experience (a plus, not required)
- Highly competitive commission structure with uncapped earning potential
- Performance bonuses and incentives
- Base salary option (depending on experience and production history)
- Ongoing training, carrier access, and sales support
