Machine Support Services; MSS Machinist

Position: Machine Support Services (MSS) Machinist
*
* Minimum Qualifications:

** Experience with machine shop equipment including 3 axis vertical mill, lathe, surface grinder, band saw

Experience with CNC lathe programming, set-up, and operations Ability to read blueprints and schematics Ability to maintain shop equipment

Ability to work individually, and in a team environment to complete required tasks

Willingness to learn field service tasks: drum repair, drum resurfacing, optical alignment, and machine installation and rigging Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and have the ability to obtain a passport

Must be able to safely perform assigned tasks when in the field at elevated heights
** Preferred

Skills:

** Welding experience

Knowledge of electrical, Pneumatic, hydraulic systems, Mastercam software

Experience with Okuma machine tools
