TempToFTMEMCO is hiring for a Shipping and Crating Associate in Villa Rica!
- Schedule:
Mon – Fri 7am – 4pm; OT available - Pay: $15
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Crating Associate to join our customer’s team. This role is responsible for assisting the shop in preparing outgoing shipments by building wooden crates and panels to protect materials during transport.
Key Responsibilities- Build wooden crates and custom packaging for outbound shipments
- Safely and securely pack products for shipping
- Measure, cut, and assemble crate materials
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Load and unload trucks; verify shipping documents
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area
- Ensure all shipments meet quality, safety, and delivery standards
- Experience in shipping, warehouse, or carpentry/fabrication roles
- Ability to read tape measure and follow simple construction plans
- Comfortable using saws, drills, and other basic tools
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work under minimal supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- A pre-employment Drug Screening is required.
