Overview

MRI Technologist II, Days at Tanner Health. Sign On Bonus $10,000.

• Plan, coordinate, supervise, and carry out the activities of the MRI area.
• Work is performed in an independent, professional manner with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate competency in neuro, body, MSK and MR Angiography scans, with the exception of Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI.
• Competent on all scanners at all THS facilities.
• Demonstrate competency in the use of a pressure injector.
• Demonstrate competency in the use of MRI-compatible patient monitoring system and medication pump.
• Competent in the performance of Breast MRI.
• Competent in the use of Dyna Cad for Breast and Prostate MRI.
• Will be required to take call: 1 holiday per year, 1–2 weekday 3rd shift call per month, and 1 weekend day 3rd shift per month.

• Education:
  
  Technical or vocational school plus up to 2 years of specialty training.
• Experience:
  
  One year of related experience; working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.

• Healthcare Provider (CPR)
• Radiologic Technologist

• Graduate of an approved 2-year Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Minimum of one year experience in MR field.
• ARRT Registered MRI Technologist.
