Project Manager (Contract – On-Site)
Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL
Schedule: 40 hours per week, no overtime
Work Arrangement: On-site (no hybrid, no remote)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to support on-site utility infrastructure projects. This role is focused on managing non-IT projects and requires close collaboration with internal teams and external customers. The Project Manager will work as part of a team and play a key role in connecting large load customers to the Com Ed system.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage utility infrastructure projects from initiation through completion
• Coordinate project activities related to greenfield substations and transmission line reconfiguration
• Work directly with external customers and internal stakeholders
• Ensure strong organization, scheduling, and execution of assigned projects
• Support financial tracking and project reporting

• Financial acumen
• Interpersonal skills, particularly when working with external customers
• Strong organizational skills

Required Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant project management experience
• “Can-do” attitude
• Utility project management experience preferred (Electric, Gas, or Wind)
• Ability to work on-site full time

Education

• Technical degree preferred
• Engineering degree preferred

Preferred Certifications

• PMP Certification
