Head of School

We are seeking to induct a senior academic and operations leader who will provide unified leadership across the school, ensuring academic excellence, operational alignment, cultural cohesion, and regulatory compliance across both boards, while respecting and preserving the distinct pedagogical frameworks of each.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic academic and institutional leadership across IGCSE and CBSE programmes, setting a unified vision, goals, and performance standards.
- Ensure academic excellence, curriculum integrity, and full compliance with board regulations, enabling appropriate pedagogical differentiation.
- Mentor and evaluate Principals and senior leaders, strengthening leadership capability and accountability.
- Ensure academic continuity and smooth student progression across curricula, while maintaining board-specific requirements.
- Drive teaching quality and student outcomes through regular review and continuous improvement.
- Oversee campus operations in partnership with Principals, ensuring effective resource utilisation and policy implementation.
- Build a strong, values-driven campus culture focused on student well-being, inclusion, and parent trust.
- Act as the primary academic representative with parents, boards, accreditation bodies, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE and Cambridge regulations, safeguarding standards, and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

- Master’s degree or Doctorate in Education/Management; mandatory

B.Ed or M.Ed.
- Prior experience of working with CBSE and Cambridge Programs.

- Experience of 10+ years in K-12 education, with at least 5+ years as a CBSE Principal or 2+ years as IGCSE Principal in a reputed IGCSE/CBSE or international institution.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of educators.
- Expertise in curriculum decision and instructional strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances
- Visionary thinking, crisis management skills, and high emotional intelligence.
