Maintenance Custodian Associate

Position Summary:

Are you ready to help shape a member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression? We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team as Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club. You are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. You are on your feet and on the go, and maintaining a positive attitude will help ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish.

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following Company procedures and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per the Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Monitors appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, ensures proper rotation and storage, and places orders when stock is low.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed, up to $3.00 per hour where applicable.
