Software Engineer, DevOps, Cloud Engineer - Software

Location: 8500 Leesburg Pike Suite 407 Vienna VA 22182 and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Candidate may be required to relocate to various unanticipated client locations across the U.S.

• Design and develop software applications by analyzing user needs.
• Modify existing software to improve performance and determine feasibility of design.
• Prepare technical specification document to ensure conformance with functional specifications.
• Conduct impact analysis on the code changes and coordinate installation of software system.
• Prepare unit test plan covering all scenarios including regression testing. Build, test and deploy CI/CD systems with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Maintain and monitor Jenkins pipelines in different environments.
• Monitor system operation to detect potential problems and configure servers to meet functional specifications.

• Must have master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any field) and 1 year of experience as Computer Software Professional.
• In lieu of Master’s + 1 year experience, employer will accept bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the above-mentioned fields of study and 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience as Computer Software Professional or employer will accept any suitable combination of experience, education or training.
• Experience in the alternate occupation must include one year of experience in preparing technical specification document, preparing unit test plans including regression testing and building, testing and deploying CI/CD systems with Kubernetes and Docker.
