Electrician

Overview

Position Title: Electrician
Location: Tysons, VA (Onsite)
Clearance Requirements: None
Position Status: Contract
Pay Rate: $29 - $34 per hour

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of emergency power systems, electrical distribution systems, UPS systems, and associated equipment
• Support troubleshooting and diagnostics of electrical malfunctions, system failures, and design modifications
• Work with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems, including 120V, 208V, 277V, 480V, and medium-voltage systems up to 12,470V
• Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, work orders, and manufacturer documentation
• Participate in preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal system performance
• Support electrical and mechanical systems tied to data center and critical infrastructure environments
• Serve as an escort for vendors and contractors when required
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach while performing additional duties as assigned

• 1+ year of hands-on experience in commercial electrical maintenance or repair
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Working knowledge of commercial electrical systems and safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret schedules, drawings, and technical documentation
• Willingness to complete technical training for UPS systems, data center equipment, and critical power infrastructure
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused mindset
